Chocolate Chip Cookies

Gooey, chocolately goodness for everyone to enjoy - including your vegetarian and vegan friends and family!

You'll need

  • 290g butter, unsalted, softened

  • 210g cane sugar

  • 210g brown sugar

  • 5g baking soda

  • 5g salt

  • 10g vanilla extract

  • 2 eggs

  • 200g cake flour

  • 200g bread flour

  • 350g chocolate chips


  • Bowl

  • Whisk/Electric Mixer

  • Oven

  • Baking paper


  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the butter, sugars, salt and baking soda together for 5 minutes until thick and creamy.

  2. Whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract.

  3. Sift the flour, add the chocolate chips and fold till you get a smooth batter.

  4. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.

  5. Shape the cookies and line a baking tray.

  6. Bake for 14 minutes, or till golden brown.
